Seats at Shikhar & Ambition are limited and are usually filled before the beginning of the academic year; therefore, early registration is strongly recommended. Parents can secure a seat by paying a registration fee of ₹500 along with a refundable security deposit of ₹3,000.

The purpose of the security deposit at Shikhar & Ambition is to ensure commitment and continuity in a student’s academic journey. With over 23 years of continuous operation, the institute follows a structured and disciplined academic system where seats are limited and batches are carefully planned. The deposit helps confirm serious enrolment and prevents last-minute withdrawals that may block seats for other deserving students.

Unlike many institutes that allow frequent batch changes or casual admissions, we maintain stable batch strength, consistent faculty allocation, and a focused learning environment throughout the academic year. This approach, refined over decades, allows us to plan academic resources and schedules effectively.

Most importantly, the security deposit is fully refundable at the end of the academic year, subject to institute norms. Parents can be assured that this practice reflects discipline and long-term experience, while keeping their money safe and secure.

The security deposit is intended to promote discipline and a focused academic environment. It is refunded at the end of the academic year except in cases of serious disciplinary violations, as outlined below:

1. The student is expected to maintain a minimum overall attendance of 90%.

2. Students must arrive on time for classes. Repeated late arrivals disrupt learning and are discouraged. If a student is late for class more than 15 times in total during the academic year, the security deposit may be forfeited.

3. The student must maintain respectful behaviour towards teachers, staff, and fellow students at all times.

4. Any involvement in verbal misconduct, repeated indiscipline, or disruptive behaviour may attract disciplinary action as per institute norms.

Apart from the above serious disciplinary conditions, the security deposit is not forfeited. The purpose of these rules is to maintain discipline and academic seriousness, not to penalize students unnecessarily.
